Mala Making Workshop: Yoga Village

Learn how to tie your own mala and infuse each knot with love.

Mala tying is an ancient practice designed to still the mind and spirit so that we can begin to explore the deeper truths within. Wearing a mala tied with a specific intention is a powerful and tangible reminder to come back to that intention throughout the day. All of our malas are made with semi-precious gems and minerals carrying different metaphysical properties. Wearing a particular crystal can be healing and transformative.

Malas can be tied based on an intention, chakra(s) or your unique Vedic Birth Chart. Vedic astrology is a more complex, rich and three-dimensional way of looking at the stars at the time of your birth. Your chart indicates which stones may be most helpful in realizing the details found within your chart. When you sign up to save your spot, you can indicate how you'd like to build your mala.

Workshops are three hours in length so that everyone has plenty of time to complete their mala and learn how to use it. Time allowing, we will close with a brief, mini meditation so that you can get acquainted with your new tool. $78 includes all materials.
